Since the beginning of HeyTaco, people have been limited to having only five daily tacos they could give their peers to show appreciation.
However, having only five tacos for large teams can limit expressed appreciation. Now your team can show more appreciation with custom daily taco amounts. HeyTaco admins can customize daily taco amounts on the settings page.
Taconomics
Before jumping in and changing your daily taco limits, there are a few things you may want to consider:
- A lower daily taco limit creates scarcity, and scarcity creates value. So the fewer tacos people have to give, the more valuable they may become.
- The more tacos in circulation, the more people have for redeeming rewards. If you have rewards, you may want to adjust redemption amounts. We wouldn’t want you to create tacoflation or tacodeflation.
